    This is one of the best websites on the net for art of middle eastern dance. Along with definitions, book resources and step-by-step instructions on making costume pieces, you will find a glossary of names to choose from for dancing. Very informative, and highly recommended.

    These ladies are doing it for themselves. Sometimes organizations can be a big help in the area of networking and awareness to the community of dance. Think about joining a dance association.

    One of the oldest middle eastern dance associations in the Washington metropolitan area. Great library of film.

    Webpage belonging to Brandon F. Johnson, Bellydance guru.  Has his finger on the pulse of the metropolitan beat (DC, MD & VA) and provides a wealth of information on all scenes of bellydance. No-biased and accurate information.  I must go visit on a weekly basis.
